The Man City vs Brentford live stream features two sides who suffered setbacks at the weekend. The result will have huge implications at both ends of the table.
Man City seemed unstoppable… until a determined Chelsea managed to stop them. Another brilliant Rodri strike helped them salvage a point, but the 1-1 draw was undoubtedly a setback in the Citizens’ title charge. Pep Guardiola’s side will be looking to bounce straight back.
The Bees suffered another poor result at the weekend, losing 1-4 to Liverpool. They seem to have lost some of the spark that helped them establish themselves in the EPL. Even Ivan Toney’s return hasn’t helped arrest their decline, leaving Thomas Frank’s men hovering dangerously close to the dropzone.
One thing we know about Brentford is they keep trying to play with a certain style, and this could play into City’s hands. However, they also showed in their recent visit to Tottenham that they can frustrate teams, at least for a time.
Pep Guardiola's side have been playing catch up in recent weeks with this clash scheduled as their game in hand over rivals Liverpool and Arsenal. Victory for Guardiola would lift them above leaders Liverpool for at least 24 hours with Jurgen Klopp's pace setters in action against Luton Town on the following day.

Brentford have picked up two wins in their last five league outings but they have not won away from home in all competitions since October.
This fixture was previously scheduled for before the festive period, however was postponed due to the Blues' commitments in the FIFA Club World Cup. City will be hoping to bounce back in midweek after dropping points in the Premier League for the first time since their draw to Crystal Palace, against Chelsea on Saturday night.

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Jack Grealish and Josko Gvardiol remain unavailable for Tuesday's Premier League encounter at home against Brentford, but all other members of the City squad are fit and ready for selection.

However, defensive mainstay Ethan Pinnock was sidelined before kickoff due to an ankle issue. He will remain unavailable until after the March international break.

City have rarely found it easy against Brentford, losing home and away last season, and so there will be no complacency at the Etihad. But the draw with Chelsea will surely have sharpened their focus and, while they look far from convincing at the back, it would be a real surprise if they Guardiola’s side were to drop more points.
